Trena is the Director of Clinical Operations and Owner of The Caring Tree. She has over 25 years of experience working with children and families in the field of education and counseling. She is very excited to offer a counseling program whose sole purpose is to serve children and their families. Trena specializes in trauma care, mood disorders, and mental health assessment.
As a Counselor, Lynda’s goal is to assist youth with overcoming personal obstacles to help them to reach their fullest potential. She likes to work with youth because she feels they are our community’s greatest asset! Lynda specializes in adolescent therapies through mentoring, 1:1, art, play, and aroma therapies to assist with: Anxiety, Depression, Life Transitions, and supporting families.
“K-C” strongly believes in the healing and therapeutic benefits of alternative approaches to therapy. As an art therapist she strives to adapt to the specific needs of her clients. She works from a person-centered approach, meeting each individual where they are physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. She works alongside each individual andaids them in reaching their therapeutic goals. As an artist and art therapist, she views each client encounter as its’ own collaborative art piece, working together until the piece is complete.
Taylor is the Clinical Assistant and Mental Health Therapist who primarily treats clients from ages 6 to 18 with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and identity development, relationship issues, life transitions and PTSD. She is especially interested in LGBTQ issues.
Tammy has her Bachelors degree in Health Care Management. She is passionate about supporting children and families. Her expertise in business and drive to care for others shows through in services she provides to our clients.
Cecilia is always happy to meet with clients and their families. She is the friendly voice when confirming and making appointments to meet with our clients. Her organizational skills keep our center running efficiently and effectively.
Plu holds a Masters degree in Professional Counseling (Clinical Mental Health) from the CACREP accredited program at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. She has experience working with children & family with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and working with families in a System’s approach.
She also has experience working with culturally sensitive mental health treatment programs specifically with the Hmong population. Plu enjoys photography and admires Hmong art.
Patches and Marshmallow are excited to see new faces who are ready to pet them and feed them treats.
Peanut and Coconut are always happy to bring a smile to anyone's face. They have received their Canine Good Citizens certification through AKA and have received their Therapy Support Dog certification through ADA.
Carrot is our resident rabbit who is the softest animal you'll ever pet. She enjoys being petted and fed fresh veggies.
